Side-by-side overview of technology used in 3ds Max Design 2010 and Rhino 3d. Max is modeling tool based on mesh [polygons, triangles] technology, but Rhino works primarily in NURBS [Non-uniform rational basis spline]. Compare them! What do you think? Leave us a response in comment area below.

    I think these two packages are incomparable in terms of NURBS or Spline modeling. If you need NURBS, go for Rhino. If you need polygons or whatever else, go for 3ds Max. If you need NURBS in an animation package, for whatever reason, go for Maya.
