Chaos group announced Vray 2 at Siggraph in Los Angeles, we informed you about this event a few days ago. Well, maybe you already know these awesome news. But did you notice also Vray RealTime GPU? Have a look at these images, showing some of possibilities of new Vray 2!
Phoenix FD – V-Ray dome light was used to light this scene.
Phoenix FD – PDplayer allows you to see Lightning variations.
V-Ray RT GPU is rendering this scene at 5000pix resolution, maintaining interactive feedback. Running on three GeForce 480 cards.

V-Ray 2.0: V-Ray material now supports Physically correct dispersion. Excellent!
V-Ray 2.0: VRayDistanceTex. This feature is very similar to VRayDirt, but it is calculated before the raytracing itself. This texture can be used to control displacement, fur length etc.
V-Ray 2.0: V-Ray Lens Effects now support Bloom.
V-Ray 2.0: V-Ray Lens Effects – Glare. Lens Effects can be correctly calculated based on your V-Ray camera lens setup. Another step to better photo realistic visualizations!
